Vancouver police arrest alleged gangster at Telus Gardens luxury condo tower

The Vancouver Police Department’s Gang Crime Unit arrested a 29-year-old man on Friday after an altercation in the Telus Gardens condo tower in downtown Vancouver.

In a prepared statement, VPD spokesperson Const. Tania Visintin said the gang unit backed up patrol officers that were called to 777 Richards Street on Friday afternoon after a report a person was being threatened.

Visintin said Seyed Moshfeghi Zadeh was arrested at the scene and has been charged with one count of uttering threats.

Zadeh, who remains in custody, was in the news in April related to a civil forfeiture case.
