Man found dead in RV near Vancouver’s Strathcona Park
Emergency crews attended Strathcona Park on Thursday morning after the sudden death of a man in an RV.
Vancouver police received a call just after 6 a.m. and dispatched six officers to join paramedics already at the scene. Attempts to revive the man failed, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
It’s the second body discovered at the growing homeless camp this week. On Sunday, the VPD opened an investigation after a body was found on the park’s athletic track late that morning.
The death of the man in the RV isn’t considered suspicious, cops said. A probe into what caused the sudden death will be conducted by the B.C. Coroners Service.
