Vancouver Weather: Rainy, then mainly cloudy and windy
Today’s weather is expected to start off with rain, but that should clear up for a mainly cloudy afternoon, with a chance of showers, a high of 14 C, and wind. Environment and Climate Change Canada has posted a wind warning for Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, and Howe Sound, with gusts of up to 90 km/h expected. The wind is expected to ease this evening. The agency warns that high winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.
People are being warned to wooded areas to prevent injury from falling trees or branches, while campers should move to sturdy shelters.
Overnight, it looks partly cloudy, with a slight chance of showers, wind, and a low of 9 C. Then it’s a mix of sun and cloud for Wednesday, and sunshine on Thursday, with highs of 14 C both days. On Friday the rain is expected to return, and some cooler weather, with a high of just 12 C.
