At least one person is dead after a shooting in North Vancouver late Wednesday night.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has been called out to the area of 17th Street East and St. Andrews Avenue.

IHIT confirmed on social  media it was investigating a fatal shooting in North Vancouver but has not yet provided any details.
